Ingredients
- 2 Lemons, chopped with some of the skin left on
- 1 orange chopped with some of the skin left on
- 1 whole head of garlic peeled
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup water
- 1 generous chunk of ginger
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Fresh herbs like oregano (optional)
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients together
- optionally strain mixture and discard the pulp, or use all all of it as I do
- Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze.
- Once frozen. pop them out and put in a freezer bag or mason jar and keep in the freezer
Simply pour hot water from a tea kettle over a cube when you are feeling like you are coming down with a cold or flu, add some honey or even lemon.
